I was going to find the area of a much closer Hell to myself, but eventually settled on the whole state (close enough). 250,500 km2.

Assuming there could be a hell, how infinite would it be? That is the question here.

I think it is naive to try and apply mathematics, a tool for understanding the known universe, to something that, by its very nature, has to be extra-universal. Time may not even exist in heaven or hell.

That said, that is exactly my problem with Walhalla. 100 years of eating and mayhem? Yes please. 1000 years? Meh. 10000? Good gods, bring on the Ragnarok already.

Isn't the term infinite supposed to mean literally forever/indefinite etc? Or maybe I'm missing the point here?

He still refused, he demanded we also offered Health Insurance to the Demons who would work in the plant. That selfish bastard.

How infinite? That's like asking how pregnant someone is. It's either infinite or not, there are no steps regarding infinite.

However, i'd say that by current count, Hell is made up of nearly seven billion people.

The Joseon Dynasty wrote:No. While the set of integers is countably infinite, the set of real numbers is uncountably infinite. Indeed, there are infinitely many infinite cardinalities.

It's the same principle with divergence.

I was shocked by that too, yes. Then again, which side has all the Bible-thumpers? Exactly!

I imagine if there actually was a Hell it wouldn't be required to work by any logic or reason we're familiar with.

Exactly. Why should we assume that a place outside of human reasoning would follow the laws of mathematics, physics or common decency?

How is it 'outside of human reasoning'?
That phrase doesn't really mean anything.

Eh. I do not believe in God, but if God is anything like the Christians claim, it must by its very nature not be bound by natural laws.

infinitely imaginary. kharma is real enough, but non-phisical existence, should it happen to exist, is placeless.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

When will you get it through your pointy eared skull that maybe everything doesn't need to be so damn logical all the time! Perhaps logic is itself an illogical attempt to bring a false sense of order to a strange and unpredictable universe.

Damn green blooded goblin...
