But... Why do you torture yourself by going there?

And experience usually cures it, but not always. If you visit A Voice for Men or the Spearhead or any of the MRA sites, you will find amazing mental gymnastics being performed to explain away situations in which women appear to enjoy sex for the sake of sex. Some guys are so determined to hold on to this view that even if they somehow manage to find a willing female partner they will convince themselves that she's really just trying to steal their sperm in order to get pregnant and rake in those sweet, sweet child support payments.
I guess it does somewhat explain the MRA mindset. I don't think you can avoid ending up at least a little bitter if you live your entire life believing that there's literally no woman in the entire world who could possibly enjoy having sex with you.

You know, there was a court ruling where a sperm donor has to pay child support to a lesbian because her partner wasn't eligible to support the child after they became separated. Wherever gay marriage isn't legalized yet, this situation could potentially happen.

If you're thinking of the court case I think you're thinking of, that isn't even CLOSE to what the actual case said.

Sometime recently I read where some MRAs were saying they wouldn't drink or be drunk around women anymore because evil feminazis and false rape charges were ruining all the fun.
While I was appalled at the misogyny, I wouldn't actually mind if guys who can't trust themselves not to rape stay away from drunk women for this very reason. Hell, I'll even be the evil feminst boogeyman if they like. I don't care why they don't rape, just as long as they don't.

My favorite response to the recent bruhaha about sexual harassment at PyCon has been the flood of woman-hating nerdbros who threaten a mass strike from their IT jobs. Like having all the assholes leaving the technical field would be a bad thing somehow. Like all the woman who are having to fight to make it in the woman-hating realm of programming and computer science would be sad if suddenly there were a lot of jobs available and all the toxic coworkers were gone.
It's always about the entitlement, I guess. They're quite sure that we all REALLY CARE about the happiness of their boners, so if they take their boners away then THAT WILL SHOW US!!!

It sounds like such men have had bad experiences with women in the past.

In fact it is literally every other person besides the folks who turn up at your party with that intention and subsequently make that intention clear.
But it's 99% of the people. And when 99% of the people all think the same way, then they often assume that 100% of the people think the same way. While I'm not saying it's right, in 98% of cases it is accurate. And 2% of cases is a small enough number that a lot of people - rightly, or more accurately wrongly - accept the status quo.
Which implies that the problem is ultimately in the education of the system as a whole, where it is assumed that you're out for sex. Which means it's not simply a 'men need to be educated' problem, it's much broader than that when women will support the system.

Ehhhhh, this is SORT OF true, but the MRA definition of "bad experiences" is very different from that of the rest of the world. Heck, Manboobz just recently highlighted a post from a guy documenting the "day from hell" (his words) which quite seriously consisted of "I went outside and saw a couple walking together. Later, I went to the gym, and there were tall people there. There were also other couples. Later on, a woman I used to know walked by and didn't happen to notice me."

The Rich Port wrote:One of the things the supposed "defenders of women's right to be raped" have surprisingly not brought up are false rape accusations.
Which, I must admit, is a problem whenever it happens. It destroys the lives of the accused, especially when they're actually convicted, it makes all women look like liars and it reinforces that specific stereotype and it attracts vultures looking to exploit the situation.
Then again, the nature of courts makes allegations hard to prove, so I wonder how many rape accusations are legit and how often do false ones become "uncovered" and whether they're true or false.

it's not at all a case of anti-man. It's homophobia, through and through.

Anyone up for taking bets on what the follow up post will be?
The odds are low that this poster won't display a severe lack of understanding of how consent works, but the payout is high.
Any takers?

She got the money because she was born with a vagina, gay or not.

Here's the thing, we don't need to take external websites for this proof. We have it here on NSG. Our resident MRA has, explicitly stated, that the reason he no longer identifies as a "feminist" and instead considers himself a "men's rights activist", the final incident that resulted in a complete change in his fundamental ideology, was that one time, Bottle was mean to him.
