Well of course it's hyperbolic, it's a parody after all. But if you compare it to the original

It just seems odd that anyone who's been working and living in a country for at least six years (and usually more like ten) can have their citizenship vetoed by their local community.

Which actually isn't the case. Getting your citizenship ( after becoming legible for it by living twelve whole fucking years in CH ) is an purely administrative matter, no need to get the Volkssouverän involved.

I voted France, it seems to be rather efficient, and responds well to crises...US comes close but our intense partisanship tends to drag us down...

But look at all the countries we liberated!

Its just a shame most Americans dont know where more than 10% of those countries are
