EDIT: Apostrophes, how do they work?

The only thing better than that look on 'white people's' face when obama got reelected is when obama voters open up their first social security check, health care bill, education loan payment, unemployment check, and the two column help wanted page in the newspaper of low-paying service sector jobs.

The unsupported 'theory' of some of the Romney camp that government payments brought out Obama voters has been discredited and reeks of Roosevelt-era untruth.

I doubt we would. But we could squash Iran like a gnat, even if we did.

US needs to take a number. Seems 25 million mutant Giant rats are assaulting Iran, more specifically, Iran Capital City.

Video of the mutant rats. Could you imagine if they spread. Some weigh 5 Kg. (11 pounds).

A war with Iran will not happen, and if it does, there sure as hell will not be a military draft.

It would be nice if we Israelis destroyed their nuclear abilities.

However, for all reasonable means and purposes, this is a last resort . . . a complete last resort.

What? No, it won't.

Sanctions are not going to stop Iran anymore then they've been effective in controlling North Korea. The only thing we've done with Iran is emboldened them. They are going to go full steam, if they haven't already.

I don't think the US will go to war with Iran this year or even the next. I think Obama's red line really means nothing, it's just "Rhetoric, rhetoric, let's secretly send a computer virus or assassinate some people, because you know, that's worked so far in deterring them."

I suspect maybe towards the end as Iran does get closer, will the pressure become unbearable to resist, where either he is forced to go to war, screw the Democratic nominee by not doing anything, or just leave it up to his successor. I suspect it will be the third one.

It is supremely naive to think that politicians don't issue largesse in the form of preferential tax and regulatory policies in a quid pro quo for special interest votes and campaign contributionsbribes.

Indeed, most of the people waiting in line to vote or lobbying in Washington were actually waiting for some form of coercive plunder in the form of subsidized health care, retirement, education, pro-union legislation, tax credits, subsidizies, bailouts, etc. at the expense of overall societal trust, freedom, growth and living standards.

It is the definition of socialist government -- giving constiuents and campaign contributors bribers what they want -- that they couldn't gain in a peaceful, free and voluntary marketplace. Hence, govt. is the means by which selfish, corrupt and inefficient actors get something via political means at the point of a gun that they couldn't get by economic means.

Why would Iran attack the US? They know they wouldn't survive a war they started.

Why would the US attack Iran? They know they don't have popular support for it anymore.

I don't think there is public support for war against Iran. More likely is a coalition strike against Syria (sort of what France did in Libya).
