It's funny how the Librulz call us out as "potential murderes" when we talk about being able to use our guns to defend ourselves and our freedoms if need be,like "OMG YOU EVIL GUN NUTS" while at the same time sharing their wet dreams about carpet bombing and nuking civilians. Oh,the hypocrisy. Well guess what, unless you hold a commanding rank in the the military then what the US military does has shit to do with what you want or think,as opposed to us,taking my gun and using it is entirely dependent on me.
I find this discussion greatly entertaining.

You sure put a lot of faith into your 'citizen militias' defeating the armed forces of a country which spends more money on its military than the next 15 countries combined.

That is because the US has a military presence all over the globe. Don't confuse spending with actual competence. Need I remind you how the big, bad US military struggled against improvised explosives and WWII tech in the "War on Terror"?

People forget that there are many other ways to commit violence and murder, and that as long as these ways exist (and the predatory nature that drives some people to commit these acts), guns will be needed or self defense.
That along with the repeated ignoring of the fact that "assault weapons" are the least likely weapon to be used in crime, and the constant demonization of gun-owners, makes it impossible to hold any respect for the gun-control lobby.
The gun control club fails at logic,"OMG WE HAVE SKY HIGH GUN-RELATED MURDER RATES!!!!1111 WHAT DO WE DO?? BAN A "CLASS" OF FIREARMS USED IN LIKE 1% OF GUN CRIME AND 0.2% OF ALL VIOLENT CRIME ALTOGETHER,OBVIOUSLY!"

I think I have pointed out enough reasons to have no respect for the gun control lobby. When they address the issues I pointed out and can come to the debate from a respectable position, then there can be a debate.
