That's a pretty materialistic way of looking at it.
What of the mind? What does it say? Does its opinion matter, or is it all the decision of the body?

My apologies.
That might change my opinion. The lack of the partner's DNA would still be a minus - I like being able to say things like "look at our daughter; she's got the same beautiful eyes you do" - but ultimately, that would at least reduce the pain of not having biological children at all, while alleviating the pain of losing out on (and very likely breaking the heart of) someone who I do care deeply about. Thus, it would at least partially resolve my lose-lose scenario.
However, I'm then concerned about the complications involved. Will the procedure be safe for my SO? What if something didn't go quite right in the surgery, and she's still not fertile? Or what if the transplant is rejected by her body? Do I have access to the uterus/ovary/etc. donor's information in order to determine whether or not there are any genetic predispositions I should be worried about? What if eggs consistently get stuck somewhere? Do we have to worry about fertilized eggs growing outside the uterus and having to be aborted every time we actually conceive?
I wouldn't want her to go through all the pain and discomfort of surgical transplants if for some reason it proves to not make a difference in whether or not we can have a biological child of our own. It just wouldn't be fair to her, especially when I'm not the one who has to jump through those hoops to make my SO happy. I would start to feel selfish demanding something of her that she can't provide no matter how much she does to make it happen. I don't want her to feel like it's her fault that my own selfish demands aren't being fulfilled, and...
God fucking dammit, I said I was going to take a break from this thread...

Not everyone thinks that kissing people of the same sex is necessarily "ill". Whatever you mean by that. Even if they did, who cares. An always-woman was once a child. How can you kiss her knowing she was once a child?

How can you kiss her knowing that she was once covered in hair and had gills? How can you kiss her knowing she once looked like this:

Ah yes, in all respects, if one is honest and upfront concerning such issues...that would be a different story![]()
I just thought it'd be comical to all the sudden loose your sex drive cause you look and see the chicks got a dick
