Take all the people of the world. Scatter them across a Gaussian distribution. Everyone within 2σ of the mean is normal.

Not at all. I hate them; I hate every one of them.

...

Oh, wait. No. That's the wrong word, sorry. Your English ways are so strange to me.

This dog has been renamed to Gender and has taken a poop in your hallway.

Your move.

Screencapped for future generations. Sorry, I had to.

"IRL?" What is that? Are you talking about that mythical "Real Life" that I sometimes hear people mention? Sorry, I'm an arealist. I don't believe in meatspace.

This is true, and it makes me resist equality for the transgenders. I do not want my normality marginalized. sorry i can't help but read this as they're calling my brain typical instead of normal, why won't they think about how i feel, i want to be normal unlike them!

Really, I do not know. I know a relationship survived a very serious change, and for that, I gotta give some respect.

THAT is love. Demonstrated and lived.

So she was in the relationship before her transition? And the other woman stuck with it? Wow. That's dedication worthy of respect and admiration.

100% indifferent. Will refuse to have an opinion about anything but "people". Anyone in my opinion that works to limit anyone's civil rights, or acts to make anyone's life difficult because they feel "threatened" - due to someone's way of living their life the way they please needs to fucking grow up.

They're people. Assuming that a trans* person was nice to me I would not have a problem with them at all.

Despite saying in the last thread that I wouldn't have a relationship with a transgender person myself. I see no reason to stop other people if that's what they want to do. (Beyond the usual age and mental capacity restrictions)

I think that puts me in the indifferent category

Transgender people are as awesome or terrible as the person you're talking about. I have had many awesome trans friends, but I know there are also nuts like JDR out there. But I can say the same if I omitted the prefix "trans" and just said people.
