There are certain things you just don't get to decide. I don't like cetain things about myself. If I had the choice, I would be 6 foot 5, have a deep voice, dark hair, and blue eyes. Save for the hair, I can't change any of these things. As a human being, you're free to make choices and be free, but how you were born is largely unchangeable. How you "feel" you should be isn't always how you are. You may not have liked how you were conceived, but trying to change that is like trying to change the tides. You're a fool to try and in denial if you think you can.

Take your own advice. How do you think it feels to live your life constantly at the scrutiny of others who say things like "it's a phase", "you can't be a man/woman, you're a woman/man", "you're lying to yourself/others", etc.

Now take into account that someone on the internet, who could easily avoid words like "unnatural" which harbor negative connotations, or could easily use this magical thing called Google to learn about issues before stating a blind and uninformed opinion, comes around and says you shouldn't be annoyed/defensive.
