This is true, and it makes me resist equality for the transgenders. I do not want my normality marginalized. I am open to the legality of surgeries and whatnot and I might even be alright with TG's trying to fight for dignity. However, don't pretend that I am something less than normal. It's like how the Aspies refer to people like me as "neurotypical" as opposed to just being normal and not having an autism spectrum mental disorder.

100% indifferent. Will refuse to have an opinion about anything but "people". Anyone in my opinion that works to limit anyone's civil rights, or acts to make anyone's life difficult because they feel "threatened" - due to someone's way of living their life the way they please needs to fucking grow up.

Despite saying in the last thread that I wouldn't have a relationship with a transgender person myself. I see no reason to stop other people if that's what they want to do. (Beyond the usual age and mental capacity restrictions)

Transgender people are as awesome or terrible as the person you're talking about. I have had many awesome trans friends, but I know there are also nuts like JDR out there. But I can say the same if I omitted the prefix "trans" and just said people.
