It is only voluntary in technicality. You are consistently and repeatedly paying a tithe to the church. This is different than a tax, how?

That is totally wrong. I want what THEY get.
They get free food, free phones, free healthcare, free housing, free cadillacs, free internet, free cable.
What else is there. I WANNA BE POOR!

Taxes are voluntary as well. You only pay taxes when you make an income. And if having no income is just tea and crumpets, then really you don't lose out by being on welfare and not paying any taxes.

Because not every dollar I give to taxes go to help people who need it. It goes for porkbarrel projects. it goes into the pockets of greedy politicians. It goes to those who are cheating the system.

In fact, i'll do even one better. It's only voluntary if you make an income IN the united states. Go live somewhere else if you don't like it. You voluntarily agree to pay them every moment you spend in this country.

Then vote for better politicians. Write to your representatives. Put pressure on congress.
Or just, you know, bitch about it anonymously on the internet

Or better yet, run for office yourself.

Your idea of people "who are cheating the system" seems to be "anyone qualified to receive benefits and actively doing so".

How do you ensure your 10% tithe is all going to people who need it. Does your pastor go out and personally inspect each purchase when doling out charity? Does your pastor get any money, have a car, etc.? Does he spend any of that money on the church itself rather than just giving 100% of it out as charity? Sounds like a bureaucratic nightmare this church of yours.

I seem to recall you saying in some other thread that you wanted to run for office. Looking to get a little of that tax money back, are you? Perhaps direct a little pork to your home district?
