I have been asked to resign for "not fitting in". By "not fitting in" they meant that I was unwilling to charge my clients for 8 hours when I only worked 4. I resigned. I said that on the Unemployment insuracne application. I got my UI.

I find a certain amount of irony in someone who has collected unemployment benefits bitching about people "leeching off welfare"

We often have service projects, people on church welfare are expected to be there helping out. We often work at "welfare farms". These are farms that grow food for the "Bishop's Storehouse". Welfare recipients are expected to help out on the farms. They are also expected to work i nthe Storehouses when the ward has an assignment there.

We verify, because we see them there. However, the Bishop is generally the only one in the Ward who knows who is on welfare.

People who can't feed themselves are expected to work as manual laborers on communal "farms".

I have personally only worked ~3 months of my life so far (I'm in my early 20's, though), and right now I live off savings and ~300€/month that I get for being unemployed. I can personally live decently on this, at least so far, and if I have to, I will go and get myself a job.

It's not totally inconsistent. KMA is worried about people leeching off the system. It's a fair enough concern. It's just that his only proposal for fixing the problem is to let God weed out the free loaders.

Fine if cell phones are so cheap, give them to everyone. Create a mandate that ALL citizens get free phones with certain basic services. If you want to add more then it is up to you.

You need to review your plans and cut back if you can't afford them. And it's sort of hard to receive calls on a PAY PHONE when it's out pn the street or in a shop or somewhere like that.
