They stromed the church in order to celebrate the fact that the Pope resigns.For some reason this atheist women (I guess they are) give a fuck about what Catholics do.In my opinion they are nothing but attention whores.
Their 'protest' did not achieve anything,the Pope had already declared the he will resign and nothing they do will stop the new one.All they did is interupt the ceremony.

Was trying to note the difference in "eating" as part of the ceremony, and just "eating".
If any other kind of eating was part of the ceremony there would be no problem, it would even be required, but since it isn't, it's out of place.

Where i attend for example parents with newborns or small kids usually stay at the back of the church to be more near to the door so they can leave with little ruckus in case anything may disturb the ceremony.
It's not written anywhere, nor it's explicitly required(which i know of), so it's should not be so uncommon for others having different habits.
