10 liters? That's too much. I can't even believe myself that I drank 1.5L of Diet Coke in a day (I needed the caffeine that time, but coffee upsets my stomach, so I drank soda.) Caffeine would have stimulatory effects, which, despite 10 liters not enough to kill, could have consequences when chronically taken at that level. And I'm not even talking about the sugar load of that yet. Perhaps this lady had some sort of dependence on Coke, that's why she should've sought consult with a psychiatrist for her dependency.

Each can of coke is about 325 ml. If she drank 10 L per day, and assuming she is awake 16 hours every day (with 8 hours sleeping time)... that means she has to finish about 30 cans of coke in 16 hours, or about one can of coke every 32 minutes.

The kidneys can only process half of that acid load per day, prolly about 15-20 cans. And the acid can wear down the tooth enamel, "rotting" her teeth. Although curiously:

Aren't babies usually born without teeth? So her children should be born without enamel, or teeth for that matter. (Natal teeth are a different matter altogether.) Cripes, it's not like the nutritional info isn't readily available, including the caffeine content. How the hell did this woman NOT get the caffeine shakes? I OD'd once on caffeine to the point I had the shakes and vague nausea; and y'know, I learned not to do that! Even spread out over the course of a day, 10L of Coke equates to something like 1000mg of caffeine. Chronic caffeine poisoning isn't Coke's fault, it's the idiot woman's fault for her completely irresponsible consumption of the product. She could have done the same with Pepsi, or Dr. Pepper, or Mountain Dew, or really, ANY caffeinated beverage. I believe soda companies are already required to label the caffeine content on the can or bottle; that should be plenty to keep the average consumer out of trouble. This woman was clearly not the average consumer, she's the sort that it's impossible to idiot-proof something against.

Honestly it's a given that drinking too much soda is going to be bad for you. Plus, her body would have given signs that something is wrong (which is usually how your body works). The fault solely lies on her, not the coke company (since she wasn't forced to drink it).
