That would require hefty prior planning on the part of WWE creative.

Why? Because nobody is pushing you, WWE creative, to be different, to think outside of the box, to do extreme outlandish things. One can only hope that TNA keeps building on the momentum they've gained and does so.

No, because they're worried about losing all the merchandise from the over-caffeinated kids and the fat lonely girls, without realize of course they have a perfect follow-up to recapture that market in Sheamus.TaQud wrote:Northern Dominus wrote:I hate you WWE, specifically you assholes in the creative department. Which it is, but he's not the only guy who's selling shirts. CM Punk is doing pretty brisk business, ADR merch is starting to pick up as well among other examples. If WWE creative was smart about it, they would have slowly but surely positioned Sheamus as the new kid-friendly superhero persona to pick up that slack for an eventual Cena heel turn. That way when Cena did go heel, the aforementioned market would have glommed onto Sheamus.TaQud wrote:Northern Dominus wrote:No, because they're worried about losing all the merchandise from the over-caffeinated kids and the fat lonely girls, without realize of course they have a perfect follow-up to recapture that market in Sheamus.
yeah obviously. All those Cena shirts worn is great money for WWE.

Plus I doubt doing that would really hurt Cena merch sales anyway. This is 2013, there's this thing called the interwebs. People can easily go online and look up the fact that Cena could be playing a heel, but in reality he's a nice guy who makes tons of visits to Make a Wish among other causes. This isn't 1997 where if somebody was a bad guy they were a bad guy everywhere they went.

Yeah. Such a shame all these teams like the Usos, Epico and Primo and the Prime Time Players have just been thrown together....
