The preshow of WrestleMania is supposed to be extended to an hour. Good, now they have some time for the Layla-Kaitlyn match that no one wants to see anyways.

I actually like aces and eights over the shield. (that's sad when I say something of TNA is better than something of WWE)

That would require hefty prior planning on the part of WWE creative.

Given what we've seen of the latest Wrestlemania and how everything seems to be last minute...yeah you fill the rest in there.

I hate you WWE, specifically you assholes in the creative department. You keep teasing this Cena heel turn and potentially have him clear the very last hurdle that he needs to in order to solidify his reputation as an all-around great worker...and yet most people know pretty damn well that there is no imminent Cena heel turn, and there won't be one in the near future.
Why? Because nobody is pushing you, WWE creative, to be different, to think outside of the box, to do extreme outlandish things. One can only hope that TNA keeps building on the momentum they've gained and does so.

No, because they're worried about losing all the merchandise from the over-caffeinated kids and the fat lonely girls, without realize of course they have a perfect follow-up to recapture that market in Sheamus.

To put it in perspective, when did Rocky's career really take off? When he became a heel. When did Hogan's career get a massive second push? When he became a heel. I'd even wager that if Jeff Hardy didn't go back on the pills a few years ago he could have really milked his Anti-Christ of Pro Wrestling gimmick and really done a lot to quit getting labeled as a more tattooed and day-glo version of Cena in regards to booking.

Going heel for a wrestler isn't a career killer, it's a career booster if they can pull it off, and I'm pretty sure Cena could do it if they just let him run with the concept. Buuuut again, over-caffeinated kid and lonely fat girl market and all.

Which it is, but he's not the only guy who's selling shirts. CM Punk is doing pretty brisk business, ADR merch is starting to pick up as well among other examples. If WWE creative was smart about it, they would have slowly but surely positioned Sheamus as the new kid-friendly superhero persona to pick up that slack for an eventual Cena heel turn. That way when Cena did go heel, the aforementioned market would have glommed onto Sheamus.

Plus I doubt doing that would really hurt Cena merch sales anyway. This is 2013, there's this thing called the interwebs. People can easily go online and look up the fact that Cena could be playing a heel, but in reality he's a nice guy who makes tons of visits to Make a Wish among other causes. This isn't 1997 where if somebody was a bad guy they were a bad guy everywhere they went.

So what you're saying is, that if we got rid of Make-a-Wish, then we'd see a heel Cena? Quick someone get a little dying kid to make that his wish!
I kid of course

Man, to think if WWE helped him with his visa issues instead of just letting him go in 2006, he'd be a Wrestlemania headliner now.

Does anyone else remember the days when tag teams were actually tag teams, and not just two singles wrestlers who pair up for some dodgy/flimsy reason?

I have been watching the Undertakers streak, and I can see a decline in the quality of the matches (not that the WWF/E was ever that good). The problem is, that without any real competition, and the serious lack of attention span on the part of the fans, the quality of the product has declined.
