I didn't say it had a happy ending.

Which Galt should have known better, since he was supposed to be a physics major. *palm*

The idea of Equality isnt bad but the actual outcomes of it when put into the hands of people IS BAD. Equality only works in small instinces like in a village or small town thats the only place equality would have a chance of working how ever nature isnt designed on equality, its designed on survival of the fittest.

Yes, but they promoted Galt to Physics Colonel, so he was able to do stuff Majors can't.

No. They fought valiantly and should be regarded with praise. The ultimate surrender made pragmatic sense, given American technological superiority.

Forced equality is as bad as forced discrimination. I'd rather live in a system that allows each man the same opportunity as the others, but let it be left at that.

I am a man of reason, as well as a strict Darwinian.

Darwinism is not reasonable. It is not scientific, it is not prosperous. It was condemned by Darwin himself, and is only used by those who do not actually understand the Theory of Evolution via Natural Selection.

After all, if you really understood it, you'd understand that it is not about money, but about reproduction.
Secondly, you'd also understand that your metaphor is flawed. It is not the individual that is superior, but merely the individual's traits in context to the surrounding enviorment. Which means that the only reason that some people tend to be more successful than others is because they are better suited for that cultural, political, economic climate. Which is exactly what I have been saying.

"Ethics" according to contemporary interpretation is too often used as a front to protect the interests of the sheep against the designs of the greatest who would propel us forward.

Perhaps, but at that point victory was all but impossible. The proper course was to surrender and then build up strength.
Japan may indeed have another chance at greatness, but such a chance would never come had they been annihilated by nuclear fire.

Equality can mean anything, there's equality of opportunity and equality in result. What are you referring to?
