No there isn't. IIRC, it's statutory rape regardless of the circumstances if it's a minor.

The problem is that statutory rape (assuming it is not coercive) is often harmless, or very nearly so, while forced rape almost never is. And there is also something that is very arbitrary about age of consent laws that baffles my attempts to deal with them intelligently; I get that a line has to be drawn, I just can't imagine how to do it in any way that is fair.

As far as carrying a weapon goes, what about minors? A child can't legally even buy weapons in some areas...

Don't walk home alone at night, don't get drunk and go to a stranger's house, don't take strangers back to your house and never attempt to stay in an abusive relationship without seeking help.

The first three items are stock standard advice you'd give to anybody as prevention to any crime. The fourth is a little touch and go, but it isn't insensitve nor sexist to advise somebody to leave a relationship where they aren't being treated properly.

There's an interesting program on Belgian television, about children that decided to let themselves be filmed while they process their trauma's. One of them is a girl who has been raped.

It's quite a revelation to see, more or less firsthand, how it has affected this girl. Maybe these kind of things should be brought out in public more often like this.
