My Religion is Christianity. I am a Christian because I find it hard to believe that we evolved from animals. If we evolved from animals, why aren't we savages who are eating the weak of us? Also, Scientists say that the big bang theory created everything, but nothing can only create nothing, so there had to be something to create everything.

While I don't really see life on earth as any more beautiful than it was (After i dropped religion), I have to admit...I've honestly felt alot more peaceful/reassured in my life after I stopped being afraid of if I was believing in the right religion, what would happen to me after I died, and trying to ignore whatever evidence seemed to contradict my religion, or otherwise trying to fit it in, so that I wouldn't have to question it.

I'm not necessarily atheist, since I don't outright reject the possibility of spiritual concepts (even if they are unlikely), but ever since I started to focus on the general principles of enlightened thought and behavior that seem to be shared among most religions, I stopped focusing on a specific afterlife; if an afterlife exists, then as long as I'm sticking to the imporant concepts, I should be pretty safe. If one doesn't exist, then so be it; I won't exactly be disappointed, since I'm making the best of the life I know I have now.

I believe in evolution because I believe in natural selection and I believe that speicies adapt to their enviorments. What I do not believe is that humans evolved from animals.

Anywho, I am irreligious, but I was baptized Episcopalian, then baptized Mormon, and confirmed as the former. None of it was particularly my choice; I was simply raised as such. Given time to consider for myself, I abandoned religion, more or less.
