Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

True, but again soft power is a major factor. I mean I can't remember the last time I read a book that was originally written in a Chinese language, or heard a song that wasn't a translation of another

You're of a poor opinion, then.
Maybe I am, but a economy in decline, rising domestic issues, increasing corruption, Military stretched all over the globe in increasinly unpopular wars, military cutbacks, rising deficits.
All seems to point to a decrease in its power and influence.
And not to say by decline from superpower I mean next month. The US can keep itself floating for decades perhaps but I see very little growth or expansion of power in the future.

Still, I imagine the USA has quite some time left as the world's hyperpower, particularly considering we're pretty buddy-buddy with Europe.
