Eh, I've picked it up once or twice, I think the last round I was silver.

They seem to have been doing rather well for the last fewhunthousand years. I'd like to see you explain how they are going to cause the entire financial system to collapse.

Sure they work well. If you ignore the massive death and destruction caused by them.
Well... the US government has assets of somewhere around negative $67 trillion. And god knows how much in unfunded liabilities. You think that is sustainable?

Does it matter why I started the thread or why I post here? It's certainly not to change anyone's opinions or to change my own. Nothing short of brain damage will ever make me agree with your or become a socialist/communist/fascist considering that my own ideology has been very successful for me. Nothing is going to detract me from believing that taxes aren't theft, and that I'm not being represented by the amount I give to the state.

Governments have worked pretty well thus far. If I recall correctly most of our financial instability is caused by corporations.
Lol, yeah, doom, if we don't change our ways.
Corporations do more stupid shit in the short term. Government do more long term damage.

Contracts change all the time. Credit card people changed the terms all the time well when I had them. Software vendors apply new Eulas. The cloud will make it easier for them to change the agreement on a whim.

If Sociobiology were here I'm sure he'd point out that proportionately more people were killed due to violence prior to the existence of states. I recall him doing so on one of them there x vs. communism threads.

Prove the first sentence.
The second one isn't representative of "government" in an abstract form. That's a US-specific problem.
