Hi there, someone who opposes the institution of marriage reporting in. I also think that if marriage does exist, it should be an option for same-sex couples as well, because I'm not a bigot.

No, I don't legalise gay marriage. I haven't legalised it, nor am I likely to legalise it at any point in the future. Legalising gay marriage is not a part of my academic or lawful responsibilities.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say nobody legalises gay marriage. That would only be a thing dictators could do, really, and they don't tend to be the most progressive types.
