Schlafly claims that women in combat will lead to an increase in military rape. At the same time, she makes the ridiculous claim that feminism "unfairly" blames men for rape of women.

"Military women are already complaining about increased sexual assaults, and of course those problems will skyrocket. Only men will be deemed at fault because it is feminist ideology that men are innately batterers and women are victims."

Female rape apologists. That's certainly something I haven't seen before.

Because critical thought leads almost invariably away from conservatism. The whole premise is based on the notion that we are, or have been, living in pretty much the best society that we could have (barring, perhaps, a couple small tweaks here and there). I think that idea gets blown to hell after more than about 6 or 7 braincells start firing.
