For those of you who've seen this forum recently, you might be aware that North Calaveras has departed NS for a couple months because he is leaving for the Army. Well he happens to be the guy who introduced me to NS and also happens to be my boyfriend. We decided to put our relationship on hold for now and I had to say good-bye to him today which was...bitter sweet. As sad as I am to see him go, I couldn't be more proud or happier for him. Having to do without him for the coming months will be difficult to say the least. However I know he is off to a new great start, doing something great for our country. The next few days..hell even weeks might be shitty, but the thought of him doing something honorable....is worth it. Luckily for me I got NS and some great rp's to keep my busy...

...sigh

Sorry for your being upset, but NSG is not your blog. Please take it somewhere else.

Compelling argument. I really liked your interpretation in the second sentence, and the supporting evidence was solid. I could tell you put your weaker arguments at the end, though.
  • No, I'm not Korean. I'm British and as white as the Queen's buttocks.
  • Bio: I'm a PhD student in Statistics. Interested in all sorts of things. Currently getting into statistical signal processing for brain imaging. Currently co-authoring a paper on labour market dynamics, hopefully branching off into a test of the Markov property for labour market transition rates.

Come on, guys, this isn't easy for her (him?). Yes, a blog would be better, but at least show a little empathy while you say it.

Make a Tumblr. Reblog depressing pictures that represent your feelings. Feel better.

Indeed.

I'm going to lock this, not because we don't have a heart (Believe you me, I understand what you're going through. I was separated from my wife for 2 and a half years), but I'm afraid given NSG, this isn't going to help with anything and will just attract spam.

Feel free to post in The Eternal Thread though, this would be ok there.
