I'm a Constitutionalist and Libertarian, and the 2nd Amendment is being attacked. If we get the bill from Diane Feinstein (who is a Hypocrite) passed, I believe that the silent majority will strike back, with force. Something Liberals don't understand is that when Gun Control is high, Gun Crime goes down, but petty crimes like robbery, knives, rape, etc goes up. In my Opinion Obama is a Communist/Collectivist who will create a Totalitarian State. You see that shit at the Inauguration? Only Nazi's (National Socialists not Anti-Semetics) and Communists drape flags like that, vertically. I'm not going to turn this into an essay and all I'm going to ask your opinion on this possibility. Remember, the 2nd Amendment isn't there for Hunting, it's there for defending us against a Tyrannical Government. What could the Government be planning if they ask soldiers if they will fire on US Citizens, buying 1.6 Million Cartridges, and disarming all US Citizens?

The government has been overstepping it's Constitutional bounds for decades; they're just smart enough to do it slowly (and probably with the best intentions) instead of all at once. An AWB, even if it passes, won't be the straw that broke the camels back anymore than the NDAA/etc was. In my opinion, the Feds will continue to whittle away at our rights for "our own good" indefinitely. If the people didn't revolt over the internment of innocent Japanese civilians or the confiscation of legally owned guns during Katrina, I think that just shows you how much the majority would be willing to let the government get away with under certain circumstances...

The 2nd Amendment was written when we didn't have modern arms or modern society. It was acceptable in the past like the Articles of Confederation.

Yes, actually, they could. If enough of the nation takes up arms, you better believe that for once quantity is going to beat the shit of quality. It'll have a broken nose, a bunch of bruises, sure, but tens of millions, possibly 100 million or more with assault rifles...yeah. Especially, since, y'know, the black market will be involved. And so will the largest gangs in the U.S., as well. And alot of those gangs have alot worse things than assault rifles. And you can get just about whatever you want off the black market. Not to mention, i don't think any of America's allies are going to jump in, not for awhile at least.

Hell, there's a few countries out there that really hate us. Some of 'em are big. Like Russia. Yes, their government is trying to be our friend, but anyone with any body language reading skill who watches videos of the two meeting, will see the subliminal signs. Not to mention, go to Russia, and proclaim out loud and proud that your'e a patriotic American. See how well that goes over. Because truth is, the Russian people absolutely hate America. If the government was controlled by the people, there'd be a world-wide nuclear war right now.

So if by a "few disorganized hicks" you mean a few million pissed off people with assault rifles, grenades, RPG's (Again, the black market.), then the answer is yes, they can, and will. I don't care how many goddamn M1 Abrahams you have. Even the M1 can't fend off an RPG attack forever. Neither can your helicopters.

But in all honesty, this would only happen if Obama did try to take all the guns. He might be stupid, but i don't think he's that stupid. At least i certainly hope not.

I'm all for guns, so I almost want to stand up for you, but this seems like a bit much what with the whole "silent majority striking back with force" thing, the "petty crimes increase" nonsense, saying that the military bought those cartriges, that the government is disarming everyone (it is quite possible, but it isn't happening), and stating only communists/Nazis hang flags vertically.
