Obama is a conservative. He's barely a conservative, as he's about center-right, but he's a conservative.

To clarify, the Mujahideen were trained by US soldiers to overthrow an opressive government, and the Zetas had the same goal, as they weren't terrorists at the time, but a paramilitary group. Perhaps being clear on what those groups Reagan helped might improve your opinion of him.

Yeah man like, he isn't cool like that other president man.
I don't mean it like that.
I mean he isn't succeeding at pushing through needed reforms, and he bitches out when the going gets tough with Republicans on major reforms.

His burning hatred for the rich, love of taxes, healthcare mandates, and wanting to eliminate the private sector and put it under government control. All textbook socialism, which is also communism.Farnhamia wrote:Rereumrari wrote:At the very least he is a socialist. I think we can all agree there. I certainly do not agree he's a socialist. Actual socialists will laugh you to scorn for that. And again, based on what evidence do you make these statements?

Yes, defense spending to start. We also need to remove the tax cuts that were put in place, because they should not have been allowed to become the standard.
Taxes will not kill the economy. They aren't some big scary thing.Arkinesia wrote:I don't mean it like that.

He's calling out republicans when they stop him, because he really can't do anything else.

I guess you're one of the suckers who thinks Obama backed out of the public option purely for “political expediency?”
Not because Obama just put that in originally to assuage his gullible progressive base that he's totes progressive?

Taxes aren't 'evil per say, I don't think we should raise them. We should lower them. Cut spending starting with military, yes, but not just stop there, we need across the board cuts to things.
