What, no source on how the debt affects us? Fine, I'll let it slip since you probably know deep down that it's BS.

No, you need evidence that leaving now rather than in 2014 won't lead to a collapse of the government and an increase in power for Al Qaeda.

How is the USA going to collapse by not reducing the debt level immediately?

But then there's that conversational side of the act...

When we're having a debt crisis every year, maybe it's time to stop taking on debt?

The debt crisis is manufactured by congress bickering about stopping to take on debt. The only time the debt crisis has impacted the actual economy is when the GOP was acting like petulant children.

Damn cataracts. :P
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Its quite nerve racking seeing people post 0 and 1 scores with basically no explanation or sources to back them up. Heck, I don't even believe Harding deserved a 2.

Or maybe not. Because the marginal tax rate doesn't really matter to job creation.

So you're fine with Al Qaeda coming back to power, leading to future terror attacks like 9/11?

If we make no effort to reduce the debt now, we never will.

It's already got so out of control that we have to raise the debt ceiling year after year, we can't let this become a habit.

Lie.

Lie, though a proper single-payer system would be better.
