I hope so, that is, if I take it. It's either Stats or Calc for Senior year, and I can't decide which.

Oh, my bad. I might want to go read him at some time.

Anyways, have you ever read it (to get it back onto a tangent that's close to the topic)?

It depends which major I wish to go for. I may want to stick with humanities, in which case I'd go for Stats. But for the Sciences I'd need Calc. So torn, since I love both fields.

Do. He's quite possible my favorite author. His books are long, meticulously researched and incredibly well written. Every single character's plot arch is neatly tied off by the end of the story, and the detail and plot weaving are incredible, not to mention creative. For example, Anthem, the book I'm referencing, depicts a world in which science took the place of religion, scientists live in covenants and monasteries, dress and act like monks, and shut themselves away from the world for years, decades or even centuries to study in seclusion.

I have, and it's an interesting idea, though I doubt real life groups would ever come to that solution.

Is it strange that I think I've created an abortion song in my mind with the tune of the Pokemon song? You know rather than "gotta catch 'em all, Pokemon." It would be "gotta abort them em all, in Vietnam." That doesn't really make sense, but I was looking for something that flowed with the tune.

Anti-theism is simply a natural response y more short-tempered people like me.

Many atheists are conditioned with patience towards religions, some aren't.

What's interesting is that that patience is only granted to eastern religious atheists, and never to western human ethic antitheists.
Atheism has to be stopped, even if that means the end of free speech and free thought.
Atheists claim freedom of religion has to include freedom from religion, but as freedom from religion cannot exist unless humans cease to exist the obvious conclusion is that atheists wants to eradicate the human race.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

Given the circumstances of the book, I imagine it was preferable to continuing a long and bloody war.

True, although the idea that the debate would accumulate into such a war seems a bit far fetched.

So, now that we've had out monthly abortion thread...

Anyway. I guess no one is willing to answer my question.

Illte since you seem to be the only person who is not pro-choice here maybe you could tell me how you would deal with the fact that making abortion illegal will just send it back to the black market for poorer women.
