That's all Mavorpen ever does. He's the guy who shouts "Your Ideas are Bullshit" or "God is not real" or anything else that contradicts anything anyone else believes, which forces me to think he's a big-government loving anti-free speech hypocrite.

He's posted on about 7-8 of these threads I post on, usually saying my ideas are wrong.

That's... probably because they usually are.

Don't like it report him and put him on ignore. It was bad enough trying to get back on topic before.

Are there cases in which an abortion is more dangerous to the mother than maintaining the pregnancy?

Never have I uttered the phrase, "your ideas are bullshit" or seriously stated, "God is not real."

Also, I have no clue who you are. But if you could actually discuss, which is what this forum is for, that'd be nice.

You're right, I did use a harsh comparison; perhaps I should have used a less extreme comparison or just left it at "suggests prejudice".

Threads in NSG don't have topics, they have a Center of Mass around which all the discussions follow various orbits. Granted, some orbits are a little more eccentric than others, but they still orbit.

Why not? It's the woman's body, so she should be able to do what she wants with it. You don't know what it's like, so you can't legislate this in a reasonable and informed manner.

Deolater? I'll come back to that later. Not knowing what the word mean at the moment doesn't make me take it as an insult just yet, even though it obviously is suppose to be that.

There are in fact several atheistic religions in the world. Rejection of an almighty god, gods, or a creator of the universe doesn't free atheists of beliefs. And seeing the religious intolerance that's always shown by human ethic antitheist, or as they call themselves, atheists, they are truly a religion. True atheists aren't hellbent on forcing other people into believing as they does.

I'm not sure if deolater actually applies to me, though. I do not actually believe in an almighty god.

So besides I want to force my beliefs on others part, no one has a reason why abortion should be illegal.
OK for those who believe it should be illegal, how would you deal with that fact that women would attempt to get abortions anyway, just the poor ones would have to do it in a much more dangerous fashion.

You're thinking of Neal Shusterman. Neal Stephenson is the guy behind Snow Crash and the Baroque Cycle.
Anthem, the book I'm referencing, is actually quite fascinating; it depicts a world in which science took the place of religion, scientists live in covenants and monasteries, dress and act like monks, and shut themselves away from the world for years, decades or even centuries to study in seclusion.

So, what? Vitality has nothing to do with any limitations on abortion. Just because the fetus has a higher chance at surviving outside the uterus doesn't mean that it shouldn't be legal to abort/kill the baby.
