Anyway, now that I look at the source, it seems as if this is a hyper-Zionist website getting upset because the BBC reported something about Israel that wasn't 100% Black Angus Pro-Israel propaganda.

I suppose by the same pedantry and warped logic they use in the link, we should rename this thread as ralkovia caught lying once again and quote the former title.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

Firstly, Al Quds TV is not merely a “Palestinian broadcaster” – it is a television station owned and run by Hamas. Of course this is not the first time that the BBC has elected to conceal from its audiences the terror connections of Al Quds TV and its sister organization Al Aqsa TV.

Still a Palestinian broadcaster.

I think the more biased source is probably the BBCWatch site itself.

So at this point can we proclaim the BBC a biased news organization?

Gee, that site doesn't seem biased at all.

That's ambiguous. Is it a painful truth for pro-BBC people or pro=BBCWatch people?

This thread would probably be stronger if it referenced what the BBC did with respect to the whole Jimmy Savile saga.

Second, what's wrong about replacing the word "Zionists" with "Jewish settlers". Doesn;t those two mean the same thing?

BBC not sufficiently biased in Israels favour, shows blatant anti-semetic anti-Israel left-wing bias yet again.Thinking back I remember myself watching the BBC and watching them refuse to allow the address of Gaza aid appeals to be broadcast and now I am sad, because that time I am sure I must have missed an excellent NSG thread about it.

oh hey, MEMRI

aren't those the guys that are kinda infamous for their inaccurate translations

now, i'm not saying that the guys that are infamous their possibly deliberately inaccurate translations are a bad source for when you're bitching that the BBC did not translate a speech in a way you liked, but maybe they are

just my 2 cents, or rather would that be 3 cents, because i have thus far made 3 posts?
