I however, don't understand the reason to be an anti theist. If one wishes to restrict their knowledge of the universe to "god did it", then by all means, let them. If you want the comfort of life after death over the uncertainty of an eternity, again, by all means. It does not affect me.
I am, however, against those who force religions on others.

Jokes aside, this sums up my thoughts as well.

And I repeat myself again:
Without religion, men and women would enjoy complete equality, gay marriage would be legal, there would be abortion rights, and we wouldn't have religious nuts continuously blocking any and all scientific research because it's "immoral".
Also, we would all have private space shuttles, and vacation homes on terraformed Mars.

And Elvis would still be alive.
Yeah no, inequality, violence, abuse and discrimination predate religion entirely.
Religion just didnt help matters much.
Further I'd like to say I'm a Methodist Christian and pro-choice, in favor or federally recognized same-sex marriage, and dont quite see what my religious beliefs have to do with men and women being equal.

The Abrahamic religions hold men up as being better than women. I'm sure you can connect the dots.

Yeah, Falangism is para-fascist or quasi-fascist. My personal ideology is in the same boat (quasi-fascist).
