BAHAHAHAHA, holy fuck is that funny. I guess anything with the words "equal" and "distributive" are liberal then.

Here in California we don't have any religious classes. In fact, I don't think public schools are allowed to legally have religious classes, as that violates Separation of Church and State clause in the Constitution.

Not true.

I know not everyone can read/download that, but if you can, I highly recommend you do. Very interesting.

CVT Temp wrote:But math does have a liberal bias. You see, according to math, finances and free market capitalism are racist and evil.

Proof:

1. Racial integration was a good thing.

2. According to the fundamental theorem of calculus, integration is the opposite of differentiation.

3. Therefore, since integration was good, derivatives must be bad, and so must everything associated with them.

4. Ergo, derivatives trading is bad and racist and so is capitalism (because it's associated with derivatives, so the associative property holds), and therefore Islam and black lesbian abortionism are good.

5. Praise Stalin.

QED

Do you really want the liberal filth known as "calculus" taught to your children?

I can confirm that this is an entirely valid mathematical proof.

Huh, interesting.

I live outside LA, and we generally like our religion on one plate and our education on the other. Just gets messy when you try integrating the two.

The long and short of the article is that a school in Modesto introduced an religious studies course that favoured no religion over any other by giving factual accounts of each, covered a large variety of them (not just the Abrahamic), and stressed the similarities between the religions. The net result was a significant boost in the number of children that properly understood the concept embodied by the First Amendment, and a significant boost in the tolerance of these children towards differing viewpoints.

Fox says things that make people feel things without thinking. Capitalism allowed this to happen in society. People pay for the privilege of not having to exert as much energy in just about anything...

Not really, that's not what Mr. Bolling was saying. He was harping on the title of the worksheet in question, which is "Distribute The Wealth". Merely a play on words not really "pushing" an agenda. But it's not quite as moronic as the OP's article makes it out to be.

The fact he's bitching about something as simple as a title shows that he and the network he works with (Fuc- I mean Fox) have to pander to the lowest common denominator just to get views.

Because describing the exercise in as few words as possible obviously makes it a liberal conspiracy. Amirite?

But, wait a second, doing things efficiently (because inefficient models are tossed by the roadside) is a capitalist concept. ZOMG! DA FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?

No, it's merely a play on words. I'm merely pointing out how the situation is being portrayed by misrepresentation by an article. There is plenty to critique Eric Bolling on without resorting to deception.

My point being that Bolling is making an issue out of the title of a worksheet, simply because it was described accurately and without extraneous words.

Why did they name it "Distribute The Wealth"? The people who wrote it were probably trying to get a show out of the Fox people, which they did. Must have been funny to watch.

Damn, I'd love to see a textbook company specialize in trolling.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

My guess, is they called it that because it's a pretty well known phrase, and goes along well with the concept of the mathematical property that is being taught. I doubt they expected a reaction from Fox.

I know I didn't learn anything in my chemistry class. Wanna know why? Hint: It was fucking boring.

By contrast, I enjoyed physics a lot because of the connections to the real world, the fun experiments, and generally the entertaining nature of the teacher.
