Flyers fans, like all Philadelphia sports teams fans, can't lose with any grace so everything suddenly becomes a personal offense and some sort of idiotic segue into the Rocky series. At this point, mutual hatred would be reciprocal...but I won't wish any ill will on Read or Giroux, because I'm not only a Blackhawks homer but a hockey fan in general.

Raffi Torres didn't get his connupence in any way shape or form, not really. If his reckless and detrimental on-ice actions and off-ice racist buffonery seem to pass muster with you and ever other Flyers fan because you share his petulant ignorant mindset, then maybe you should re-examine why you're watching the game in the first place.

That hit wasn't near as bad as Chicago fans make it out to be.
Also, he should've aimed it at Kane instead.

Campbell's feet were planted, he didn't leave them until after the hit had been made. He didn't hit Umberger's head, who did have the puck when Campbell initiated the hit. It was a clean, shoulder-to-shoulder/chest hit.

Torres' hit on Hossa? Torres left his feet before he made contact. He hit Hossa in the head, who had lost the puck long before Torres initiated the hit. It was dirty, reckless, and clearly with intent to injure Hossa.

Regardless of what team, and what players, a person supports, the case is pretty clear cut. Torres' hit was as bad as they come. And worse? He tried to make it that way. If a person says Torres' hit was OK, they're being ignorant. If a person says Campbell's wasn't, they're being just as ignorant.
