Tiebreaker could be whoever gets the number of games the series will take right.. but if the B's win, Shofercia can tie us.

Lol no.

Boston swept the Pens, it's going to take more than 5 to decide this one. Bruins in 7.

Nope. Hockey's hockey though, and if you don't need cheap shots to win, why embarrass yourselves?
Embarass nothing, wins a win, it's Hawks vs Bruins. An Original Six Stanley Cup finals.

Can it get more awesome? Only if it's a slugfest all the way to game 7.

Yeah, it can. Just because certain teams were created before the 1950s, doesn't mean that they're "oh, so totally awesome" now. Case in point: Toronto Maple Leafs.

Don't be so quick to hate on the Leafs, they put up a better fight than the Rangers AND the Pens. That team was deceptively good this year.

Only because they didn't have Cindy Crossby and Eugenia Malkin :P

On a more serious note, I don't think that teams get special privileges just because they're in the Original Six. All O6 gives you is a dependable fanbase.

Two new uniform announcements so far.

The Carolina Hurricanes made a big deal promoting their new look, which really isn't that different at all. The uniform isn't different enough for me to really care one way or another, but I think the new ones look like what may come of a Blackhawks/Devils/Red Wings three-way.

Secondly, the Dallas Stars. I actually really like this change. Their shift to all green is a good one I think, it really makes them stand out; no other team in the league is wearing green in that capacity. I am neutral on the new logo but I think it looks nice on the jersey.

I think one thing the Stars could have done is used the Texas-shaped logo with a "D" on top on the side of the jersey. Instead they used a pretty bland circular logo.

However, I think it's a sharp new scheme and uniform.

Not all teams are blessed with getting it right the first time around like the Blackhawks :P

But back on point, at least the Stars are doing something different. The 'Canes look like almost every other team in the league with red and white coloration... hell change the logo and it could be a Red Wings update really. Or a Senators update. Or a Coyotes update... we get the idea don't we folks?

The Stars new jersey's look like they belong on an AHL team to me. Not a fan.

Carolina's look too similar to the old ones for me to care.

Considering how insane AHL hockey can be, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Sure I'll bite
2-0 Chicago. I'm not totally convinced the Bruins defense will stand up to the onslaught that is the Blackhawks offense on game 1. Not a blowout, but they'll have to adjust.

Right now I'm actually more interested in seeing how long it takes to finish this as opposed to seeing who is the team doing the finishing.
