Cheap Chicago taking cheapshots. Sorry, had to take another game to get used to the kind of crap that pieces of shit like Shaw pull on guys like Richardson. Considering there was also one on Richards in the first game by Bolland, who, BTW, didn't get suspended, which just shows that Brendan Shanahan is too much of a cunt to actually go after star players, and another one against Doughty, I mean it's like Chicago's begging LA to give their captain the Quenvellian Treatment.

If the NHL is going to ban Duncan Keith a game for a high stick on Jeff Carter, then they better dang well give Jeff Carter a game off for deliberately slashing at the unprotected hand of Duncan Keith with his own stick.

I thought it was going to be at least two games, considering several things: first there's Duncan Kieth's record. Second, there's the constant barrage of cheap shots by Chicago against LA, they're asking us to give Toews the Quenvellian Treatment. First there was the hit on Richards, where Chicago player's skate left the ice. Second there was the slash by Shaw on Richardson's foot, after the puck was long gone. Someone hit Doughty knee to knee. And Blackhawks are known for playing dirty. Recall the hit on Filpulla, that took him out of the game too. And that's just from what I can recall. Quenville is playing dirty, and it's a pattern. Chicago's lucky that it's only one game.

And yes, Carter should've been assessed a two minute delay of game. But Keith should've been kicked out with a five minute major. So the penalties evened out. Also, hitting hand isn't the same as hitting face, as per NHL's rules. If Keith hit Carter's hand, he would've just ended up getting a two minute minor.
