I would assume so. The West has made the rifle the "Mosin-Nagant" whereas Russia only ever referred to it as the Mosin. The reason the Nagant revolver was adopted was to sort of make Nagant stop bitching about Mosin's rifle model being adopted (even though he did help a little) without any mention of him, if memory serves correctly. That, and it was built like a freaking tank.

Kind of like "AK-47".

That's Russian weapons engineering for you. Crude, ugly, cheap, and built like a brick shithouse.

Nice lookin' guns you got there. I really like the SKS and the AK with red furniture. But I think you'd agree that those weapons were not designed with aesthetics in mind.

To answer your question; that Hungarian M44 isn't the prettiest rifle in the world. I had one with the same kind of finish, but in worse shape, so I refinished the stock on it.

OH GOD, it burns! It burns! Why would you post something like that! My eyes feel as if they have been assaulted by a company of Russian soldiers armed with aesthetically displeasing firearms!

What a world, what a world!

All you have to do is disassemble it and tighten the screw that holds the trigger's tension plate in place. I actually lightened mine slightly to where it won't go off it dropped, but it doesn't take strength I do not have to fire now, either. :lol2:

Capitalism is always the answer. Whenever there's a problem in capitalism, you just need some more capitalism. If the solution isn't capitalism, then it's not really a problem. If your capitalism gets damaged, you just need to throw some capitalism on it and get on with your life.
