I had these before the terrible boating accident.

3) Para-Ordnance 45's, a FN 45, 2 1911 Colts+ 1 long colt revolver (great grandfathers army issue), .22 Woodsman, Browning Buckmark, 3) Glocks in 10mm, 45, and 9mm, a Hi-Point truck gun in 45, Ruger LC9, 2 Barettas in 9 and .380, Charter Arms .22mag, 2 Norinco SKS, 2 Norinco AK's, 3 Saigas in .308, .223, and x39, 2 Mosins that I still have, 1 is a '44 Finn, and the other is a Chinese '53, a Winchester 45LC, and 2) 12 gauge shotguns, 1) M1A1 Springfield, complete set minus the 16 gauge of Stevens 311 series shotguns, 2) AR's, 4)semi-auto .22's and 2) bolt .22s, I'm sure I've forgotten a few. It's just too painful to remember! My babies couldn't swim!!!

I also make an adapter to allow a .223 Saiga to use AR mags.

Which caliber of Desert Eagle?

Also, an StG-44 (outside of a GSG .22LR clone) is going to be insanely difficult to procure. The M1 Garand won't be (we've had several come through the past couple months), fortunately, but they can be a bit expensive as well.

As for the "AK-47," well, there's a lot I could ask about that.

:-) I'm not a farmer but I do like growing plants when I get the chance. Fresh veggies are wonderful. Much better than weapons.

ps. Unlike some other things used as weapons there is (sadly) little evidence of them having been used for farming.

I have an FN Five Seven, though I don't go to the range much since the ammo is quite expensive. It's the first of my hopefully soon to be expanded gun collection. One thing I can say about the Army, it's shown me a love of firearms that I never knew I had before!

Can you define the difference between the Mosin-Nagant and the "Nagant"?

Is one the Nagant revolver?

I would assume so. The West has made the rifle the "Mosin-Nagant" whereas Russia only ever referred to it as the Mosin. The reason the Nagant revolver was adopted was to sort of make Nagant stop bitching about Mosin's rifle model being adopted (even though he did help a little) without any mention of him, if memory serves correctly. That, and it was built like a freaking tank.

Kind of like "AK-47".
