That's about as objective as you can get.

That's biased and according to perspective.
There would have to be a universal idea of Awesomeness, which you will never achieve because everyone thinks differently. So, then, who's perspective of awesome and not do you choose? Do you ask people if they're awesome? They can lie...

You cannot divide the world according to specifications. There will always be exceptions, there will always be disagreement. Any person foolish enough to try and divide the world is clearly an idiot, because no matter how hard you try, you will not cut the thin line between everyone perfectly, because there is no line. That's like trying to pinpoint the location at which green turns to yellow, and yellow to orange in the color spectrum. There isn't. It kind of just... flows, from one color to the other. There's no two ways about it.

Race and culture. There's a reason why cultures didn't mingle very well with vastly different cultures. There's also a reason why Europe is considered separate from Asia despite there being no large body of water dividing the two regions. It's largely a cultural barrier. Same with why America's melting pot needed people like Martin Luther King Jr. and Abe Lincoln to make sure humans are treated like humans.

Frankly, let's not have to deal with the racism and division between vastly different cultures and let the physical barriers stay. Emotionally and socially, we can be accepting of other races. But physically, let's keep at what humanity has been doing. At least you'll see race related crimes go down. Maybe if humanity was more mature, we wouldn't even be talking about this.
