Not many converts can reach the status of Ger Tzedek and is usually rewarded after the death of said Ger Tzedek.

So a child of a regular Ger would be a as Ethnic a Jew as they come, even if the Ger claims to have 're-converted' once a Jew, forever a Jew.

I assume the status of such a person and their physical relations in a non-Jew can be discussed on the other thread (I really think we should merge the two to create a Judeao-Christian Discussion thread..... but I digress).
