I am. I'm a bit of a black sheep though, I was born Methodist, but wasn't really a fan. I was an atheist, looked at Wicca and Paganism. But through a series of Deductions and "Revelations," I became a Baptist, and have been for Ten Years. My journey though has colored me interestingly. I think I might investigate Catholicism. I'd look into Orthodox, but I can't give Distruzio the satisfaction.

Thats interesting. So how old were you when you actually gave your life to Christ? Personally I was 5 when I did and I have been raised going to Pentecostal churches but no one in my family is denominational. I've pretty much always been close to God by faith but when I was 13-14 I actually logically concluded that Jehovah is God and there's no 2 way about it. I just see myself as a Christian I don't worry about categorizing myself too much, as my interpretations of the Word are developing constantly. My beliefs closely associate to Quaker (thats what a test I took said).

How did they civilize the world? This is a legitimate question.
By spreading western culture. Before the arrival of the Europeans in America, Asia, Africa etc. That places were without technology, science, infrastrukture, road... When colonisation started they made thoose countries to decent nations.

That was due to European colonialization, but as far as I know, not due to European Religion.

You've got a point. But it wasn't solely due to European religion. The original question was, What technological or social advancements have been achieved by religion itself.
