I think at that point, I wouldn't have any loyalty to the US government and would have no qualms about committing treason. There comes a point where you think "enough is enough" and decide to either rebel against or conform to the status quo of how things are.

I actually have no issue with a private collector owning a nuclear weapon. If they were leave you'd need shitloads of background checks and licensing to get a hold of one not to mention the cost of the weapon itself. Throw in the delivery system and you sure as hell aren't going to fire it off.

What is interesting about your post (apart from the ITG-ness) is that it's an admission that your position is not about 'rights', the Constitution, or whether or not it's even a good idea (like, for safety, etc) - but is entirely about selfish ideology.

it isn't the logic that guns can be stopped. it is the logic that if there are fewer of them to go around, there is less ease and convenience to killing large numbers of people, because someone wakes up one morning with a wild hair up their ass and a mad on at some group of people or humans in general. or even other life forms for that matter.
