I see you are using the Washington Post and the Huffington Post, traditional liberal media outlets. Practically cheerleaders for the left. Most of which is the NRA saying that Obama plans on targeting these rights. Ok. One even has an ad saying that Obama is planning on kicking it into high gear.
I shall counter blatant left articles with blatant right articles:
http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/12/ ... -stopping/ Obama wants to use tax dollars to subsidize lobbying for more gun control. Makes sense, government spending money to fund the shaping of the government. Not to mention Fast and Furious (I'm surprised you didn't put up any conspiracy theories about this). Since they did it when they wanted to bolster the argument that the US was aiding cartels in geting arms from the US.
The Obama administration instituted a ban on importing "historic" semi-automatic rifles into the US. The administration instituted new rules on selling "high-powered rifles," defined as a caliber of greater than .22. -- The administration nominated Andrew Traver, someone who supports gun bans, as the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Obama’s most lasting impact on gun control is likely to be through the federal court judges he appoints. His most visible appointments have been the gun-control advocates he has made to the Supreme Court.

Not that I expect you to read any of it, given your explicit denial of reality.

Bolshevism is a Communist, third worldist political ideology that is fervently anti-Semitic. Just as much so as Euro-Fascists.
Robert Mugabe, Nelson Mandela , Jacob Zuma, and Hugo Chavez are 4 examples of radical communist 3rd world dictators who hate jews.

And that juvenile response is why I view leftists as narrow-minded bigots.
Same thing with the quote: I gave up three pages ago when he ignored everything said.
You have no interest in hearing differing opinions. You just want to sit in a sea of like minded people. All should be shunned, ignored, or beaten into submission.
Either way, I responded to your leftist arguments with a right wing argument in kind. Never once said that is my opinion. Believe me when I say my opinion will be viewed as far more revolting to you. And I shall give it since neither of you gave me anything to actually contend of vale in terms of argument: Democrats are socialists and Republicans are socialists light.
If you want to focus on gun control, they are both wrong. If you read the 2nd amendment: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
By the original intent, it is not just the ability to own guns. It is the ability for people to freely come together and form their own militias. In fact, it wasn't a right, it was considered the civic duty. That amendment was rooted in English law dealing with how barons used to fill the King's army at a moment's notice without maintaining constant costs of a standing army. Eventually the barons realized that since they had all the armies, they could force the King to submit to a basic code of laws (the magna carta) where even royalty was bound to abide by. Therefore it was seen in the US as the duty of the average citizen to maintain not only his arms, but proficiently use them in defense of the state should the federal government become a corrupt tyrant.
Therefore all your gun laws are, for the most part, an attack on the 2nd amendment.
