I could prattle on about obtuse EPA methods of oil market manipulation, creeping fascism, encroachment of the Chinese, the Amero, or something else half-cocked, but I don't have nearly enough tinfoil for that. I am simply not a fan of a country so deeply invested worldwide that its withdrawal is all but impossible, even though damages as a result have placed the buck squarely on the shoulder of my great grandchildren. Or something like that. I like to try and imagine a country that elected Goldwater and went from there, however wishful thinking is a bad way to waste the day.
