Single. But doing everything short of auctioning myself in the market to change that.
Read "A Man For All Seasons". That explains most of what I believe in. Except the Catholic bits.

Outside of here I do lead a rather unusual and colourful life. As a Spinster.

I just want a nice man with a good accent and the manners of a Royal.

Self-deprecating "jokes" that also apply to other people (in this case: fellow NSers) seldomly are.

I chuckled at it. Being a member of NS doesn't place one on a pedestal.

Cats are terrible huggers to be honest. And they really don't care about you. They just care about when you give them food and catnip again.

I've dated some girls to this date for sure but I can easily tell that I've never fell in love with anybody. I'm seriously thinking of proposing her soon, I was never sure and determined about anything else as much as this decision... :)

Until they don't. One of my cats absolutely insists on sitting on my chest while I'm reading in bed. She shoves her face into mine and rubs, walks around in circles on my stomach and does the kneading thing with excessive manifestation of claw. Sometimes she'll stick her butt in my face. I'm told this means that she loves me.

Yes, I've heard such stories. My friend's cat sits on her face in the morning. Apparently that's her way of saying "Good Morning."

Don't be deceived when our Revolution has finally been stamped out and they tell you things are better now even if there's no poverty to see, because the poverty's been hidden...even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which these new industries foist on you, and even if it seems to you that "you never had so much" - that is only the slogan of those who have much more than you.

relationships

Pros -

Someone cares about what happens to you
You have someone about whom you care
You get warm fuzzies and cuddles
You have someone to talk to

Cons -

You can't go where you want and do what you want without checking in
You never get the last bite of ice cream
You generally end up cleaning up after him and yourself
He steals the blankets and you freeze
NO PRIVACY

For me, at the moment, the cons loom larger than the pros - I kind of like being single - especially when I see how my ex-husband abuses his current wife.

Me too. I like my privacy, and I like having the non-existing-god-given freedom to stare at whoever's ass I damn well please!

You know, there are some women who understand that looking is not the same as acting. IMHO, any man I'm with can look at other women all he wants, as long as he doesn't do anything about it.

Indeed. At the end of the day, he's going to bed with you, not them.
