They are all the same to me because they believe in one God, Jesus is the son of God and part of the Trinity, died on the cross etc.
But, if they are practising mass during sundays or not, or what do they think about abortion is not so important since they all believe in this one important "truth". Get it?

Yeah but it's not about the "truth". It's you implying that all churches have the same policy on gay marriage and that they copy the catholic church. There is older forms of Christianity in the world like the Gnostics.

Sigh... according to the prophecies, when the Messiah comes, the Temple will be restored, and all the Jews who are scattered throughout the world will come back to the homeland, to become the most honored nation in the world, which will lead all of humanity into an era of universal peace.
After Jesus came, the Temple was totally destroyed, and all the Jews who were in the homeland were scattered throughout the world, to become the most persecuted nation in the world, while all of humanity entered an era of escalating brutality and violence. Nice going, "Messiah".

Ok, but that was after Jesus. When jesus was born, Herodotus build already a new Temple and the Jews were mostly homes. So, yes he is the Messiah.

Well, to me all Churches are almost the same, since they believe in the same God and figure.
I was refering to the Catholic Church since it is the legitimate one and from which the others copy their religious believes.

Which church? And no.Scholencia wrote:Well, to me all Churches are almost the same, since they believe in the same God and figure.

I'm not a member of the Catholic Church. Only those who are Catholics are bound by what the Vatican decides.

I don't recognize the Pope's authority. And I've never even heard of the King John version.Menassa wrote:But as a Christian... are you bound by the Old Testament?
I only really consider myself to be bound by the red text in the Gospels of the New Testament. It seems to me that they've been edited the least.

That was sort of the answer I was looking for but you think the Masoretic Text has been edited?
