Point being, it wasn't my uterus that made me like them, it was the righteousness of their video.
Chicks like the Backstreet Boys and guys obviously don't. So there is my point. I didn't really care, I was just wondering. It wouldn't stop me from liking them if most other guys didn't. Kinda like My Chemical Romance. It's mainly chicks and emos that like them, but I like them anyway because I realize that they are a kick-ass hardcore punk band that have great outlooks of the world.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you that their old stuff is crappy - their best stuff was made near the start of their career - Origin Of Symmetry (2nd album) is the best album. Unfortunately, their latest album... its not quite the same. For those who've followed them from the start, its a bit of a disappointment - it seems like they'd rather show off than actually make good music.

You don't need to worry about Muse being a 'chicks band', I've seen them live a few times, and it was a pretty even mix of males & females.Cteduul wrote:To be honest a lot of bands these days are so far up themselves they;d rather showoff than make good music.
Oh yeah, definitely. I live in the past generally, when listening to music

That is the gayest fucking shit I've ever heard, and I had Barry Manilow perform at the White House in '82.

Maybe their musical taste changed? Few bands have remained popular singing the same shit over and over and over and over and over and over. See it's even boring reading the same thing over and over again. Imagine listening to it.

Quite. Crack on a bit of the old Genesis and the only people left standing in the same room are male teenagers with Aspergers.

But all of the comments on YouTube are from chicks saying something along the lines of "OMG, I just heard them on the Twilight Soundtrack and they are so awsome!!!! And the singers is so sexy!!!!!!" So that got me wondering, "Am I the only guy who likes them?" Are they a band for chicks? (I'm half joking and half serious)

Muse aren't a 'chick band' anymore than Radiohead are. Muse are a slightly less ugly version of Radiohead, after all.

Muse are radiohead if Thom Yorke rode a pink unicorn on stage playing a guitar made out of glitter and wearing 7 inch platform boots with matching leotard, before playing a piano using only pelvic thrusts to hit the keys.

My boyfriend likes Muse so, no, you're not the only male out there who likes them. And come on, Twilight OS?, that should've told you, from the get-go what kind of people were going to comment on it.
