That's because the PT cruiser deserves to be demeaned, it looks like the bastard child between a pram (stroller) and a hot rod.

Cheeseburger would be great right about now.

It was a really good cheeseburger too. Tillamook cheddar, tillamook beef, home-grown lettuce, sliced olives, whole wheat buns. Granted, that was most of my calories for the day, but it was deliciously worth it.

As does the smart car.

Despite that it's ugly as sin, has no cargo space, and is ultimately like riding in a clown car, it gets mileage comparable with a mid-sized sedan.

People movers were boring and styled by cardboard box designers before the PT Cruiser, they at least tried to make a predominantly boring car segment have something distinctive and gave it a grill evocative of the 40s Art Deco cars, a period of design I happen to like. Had Chrysler the sense to press on with their plan to re-brand Plymouth with the PT line (there was a mid engine sports car and some other models designed at the same time, all with targets around $20k) they not only would have been able to save the Plymouth line but would have been ahead of the curve for the push for cheaper and more efficient cars. They might have even been able to stave off being owned by Benz and now Fiat.

The SMART fills a forgotten niche of the micro-car that has a long tradition in automobile history and I think does it fairly well. Plus, you can put motorcycle engines in them and then make them hyperactive little stunt machines.

So there. :p

It doesn't matter what you call it, nothing changes the fact that it's still Christmas, and always will be.

But, it hasn't always been Christmas. It's been (and still is for many people) Yule, Winter Solstice, Saturnalia and a number of other seasonal celebrations. It will always be those celebrations, too. And who knows, really, in 5000 years, it may be something else as well.

Happy Holidays is far more offensive then Merry Christmas.

Holiday means 'holy day.'

By saying Happy Holiday, you are basically calling New Year's Eve and Christmas a holy day.

Let's be nice and just say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's!

No, Holiday is the sacred day for Pastafarians. Please do not demean my religion with your pagan definitions, and stop declaring a war on Holiday.
