So for as long as I can remeber I have had great delight in sitting somewhere solitary, being still and silent and just watching the wildlife be err wild.

Now I live in London, and so the humble pigeon I have watched for many, many years and I have always wonderd when there breeding season is? It seems that they are always engainge in the old matting dance anytime of the year.

The think that happened to me yesterdy though took be very much by supprise. I was out after lunch watching the pigeons when it suddenly occoured to me how beautiful they are, I wonder why I have never seen it before?

What has made you go ummmm? Latley?

Something to do with the funky taste that makes most of us go "ick". Our palates aren't used to the taste. We can eat some weird stuff, but that is too "exotic" for some of us.

I concur. I used to live in Southern California with a full on view of the house next door - everything else being shrouded in smog. It was green and clear for maybe two days of the year - the rest of the time it was shades of brown and tan - including the ecru sky.

Now I live at the foot of Pike's Peak and go ummm every morning.
