Personally I have a few. I think that the formation of the USA was very inspiring, because it was one of the first republics during a time when most of the world was ruled by Autocratic Kings.

...curiously not mentioning that "first republic" (I assume the Italian Renaissance, or the Hansa cities, or Switzerland, or the Seven Provinces don't matter because they're not anglo-saxon enough, right? They really got off to a horrible footing with their early constitutions, too. Being racist and prohibitive towards whites is not how you establish yourself as a Caribbean power in the early 19th century. That did so much to destroy their early economy (or rather, stopped it from ever taking off), from which they never really recovered.

Having faith in the word of God doesn't make me a fundamentalist, it makes me Moral. I believe in the beauty of God's plan even if I cannot personally comprehend it. The earth shall be recreated into a moral kingdom of God. All we need to do is have faith.
