Police found a full human skeleton, skulls and a box containing other human bones by chance....

They also discovered CD-ROMs titled "my necrophilia" and "my first experience", and photographs of the woman engaging in various sexual activities with a skeleton....

What, exactly, will jail do?

Remembering the primary purpose of jail is some combination of the following:

- Punish for harm done
- Rehabilitate
- Deterrence
- Remove threat from society

so this Swedish woman, for whatever reason, presumably rubbed herself with some bones and enjoyed it a great deal. Regardless of how icky we might find it which of the above things is jail going to do? Punish her? For what? Rehabilitate? What about what she had done will be fixed in jail? I mean jail is great for fixing sexual quirks, isn't it? Deterrence, maybe. And is she a threat to society? No.
