I in no way attacked "bushsucks"'s personal character, just their sanity. :) I know, that doesn't make it ok. sorry. In my defense, I dislike radical conservatives as much as radical liberals.

The concept that virginity is somehow only a female thing is false and oppressive to women. I am male, and I value my virginity. My sexuality is still something I'm learning to control in a God-honoring way, and it will be a gift reserved only for my wife. There is nothing unhealthy about that at all. Counter-cultural, in some ways, but not unhealthy.

Not radical liberal. Just anti-religion and anti-''Hey-I-am-a-Christian-and-you-hereby-have-to-live-by-my-laws-even-if-you-don't-believe-in-them. That wasn't hard.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Actually, this is slightly incorrect. In Africa, it's not uncommon for girls to be married into their teens, and thus married women in Africa are at higher risk for HIV infection than unmarried women.

Yeah I corrected that. They're at a higher risk for it, though I think that it still applies adequately to the discussion at hand.

In my opinion, virginity shouldn't be an issue at all. People shouldn't care about whether people have had sex. Also, people shouldn't care about whether people haven't had sex.
Facts are arbitrary. Pleasure is the only truth.
I worship tea.
Here's why I prefer strength over brains- beating a computer at chess is hard, but beating a computer at kickboxing is something anyone can do.
Violence isn't the answer. It's a question and the answer is yes.

Someday, I shall meet Lian and learn the ways of Chinese martial arts, or die trying. More likely the latter, admittedly.

That is not an argument at all. Just because it has no purpose besides pleasure doesn't mean we shouldn't do it.

Wait, except that the only purpose isn't for procreation. There are pleasure centres, which in our primal days would have most likely, since this is science we're talking about had the purpose of motivating us to procreate. Now, however, through the magics of scientific advancement, we have a whole array of birth control methods, and sex is no longer something solely for the purpose of procreation. We do, however, still retain the drive to have sex from our earlier days. It's a completely normal, and I would argue, healthy urge.

Unlike you, I don't think the pinnacle of civilisation lies in denying one of our most basic needs (or wants depending on who you ask). In fact, I think the opposite, since I consider purposely denying yourself something that is healthy, natural, and pleasurable, is just plain illogical.

no, by playing with others you learn different techniques to bring to the table, that just by yourselves you might not think of.

Oh and to also address the latter part: People are biologically hardwired to not "keep their pants zipped". A species that did that would not be as effective at survival.

Which isn't important now that we aren't living in the wild. Nobody needs to pass down their genes as quickly as possible to avoid being eaten before that happens. If you want to live like animals, go move to the wilderness.

The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

If God doesn't want me having sex. let him tell me, not you. The government (so laws) have no business in people's sexlives at all! We've lived under such theocratic horror regimes, it was called the dark ages.

Someone's trying to tell you that you can't have sex where you want, when you want, and with who you want? Oh the horror, such oppression. I'm sure it's putting you on the brink of destruction.

You have no right to tell me what to do. period. Don't like sex? Don't do it. Just stop forcing superstitious beliefs about sex on others.
And yes it is horror, it is a clear violation of one's freedom!
