They've been quiet for a long time. There are riots occasionally, but no rockets are launched from the West bank.

From our point of view (and if you think about it in the long run), but our priorities are quite different, being mostly concerned with Hamas "foreign policy" rather than internal politics.

There's that one issue with Israel sinking one of our spy boats and the time Ike almost went after Israel for attacking Egypt alongside Britain and France. Maybe even the time we were in Lebanon, but that's really stretching it. There's never been direct US intervention in the conflict and it's ludicrous to assume that Obama with his frosty relationship with Netanyahu is going to change that.
