Egypt will lose American funding if they intervene. Doubt they will.

And they should, as should Uganda, as should Israel ;)

Israel has been a terrorist state ever since it was found on Arabs' land, none can deny that.

Iran hasn't and won't do a thing. I'm more concerned about Hamas becoming suicidal if the IDF invades.

Let's hope nothing of these two happens, for the good of both Gaza and Israel.

Do you pherhaps know the position of Fatah and the west bank as of now?

They've been quiet for a long time. There are riots occasionally, but no rockets are launched from the West bank.

Good,I always liked secular Fatah,I would like to see it being restored as the represantive of all Palestinians one day(with their current stance not their old stance,of course)
..Hamas is only getting worse by each passing day.

The problem with Fatah is that they're corrupt as fuck. It might seem as though they're the sane choice to an outsider, but one could say the same about Obama.

From our point of view (and if you think about it in the long run), but our priorities are quite different, being mostly concerned with Hamas "foreign policy" rather than internal politics.

True, but, despite their corruption and authoritarianism they are approachable and open to negotiations ...they're also secular, which I consider really important.

We've been intervening for decades. I'm waiting for us to become completely and absolutely neutral, providing absolutely nothing to either side.

The 21st Century is no place for religious extremist militant groups, and that goes for Palestine, Chechnya, Iran and anyone else who supports or harbors them.

Actually, we have a pretty clean record regarding that. There's that one issue with Israel sinking one of our spy boats and the time Ike almost went after Israel for attacking Egypt alongside Britain and France. Maybe even the time we were in Lebanon, but that's really stretching it. There's never been direct US intervention in the conflict and it's ludicrous to assume that Obama with his frosty relationship with Netanyahu is going to change that.

Yea, that's a pretty big one.

Especially if you consider they represent a predominantly muslim people.

Another question,is there any important politician in Israel (like Rabin was in the past) that could help improve relations if elected?

aren't you german
ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

That's his problem if he doesn't classify financial and material support to one side "intervention".
